Meet Marsha Smith, MD, FAAN

Marsha Smith, MD, FAAN, is a board-certified neurologist specializing in movement disorders at Riverhills Neuroscience in Cincinnati, Ohio, at our Norwood and Anderson office locations.

Dr. Smith went to college at New York University in New York City, earning her Bachelor of Arts. The next year, she enrolled at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and obtained her Doctor of Medicine.

Before entering private practice, Dr. Smith completed an internal medicine internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and a neurology residency at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Harvard residency inspired Dr. Smith to develop a focused expertise. So, she completed a neurology fellowship in movement disorders at Emory University Hospital in Georgia. There, Dr. Smith received specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia.

Dr. Smith is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology and the Movement Disorder Society.  She welcomes anyone experiencing neurological issues to Riverhills Neuroscience today.
