Meet Brian Maddux, MD, PhD

Brian N. Maddux, MD, PhD, is an expert neurologist specializing in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions and provides this expertise to Riverhills Neuroscience patients at the Norwood office in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Crestview Hills, Kentucky, location.

Dr. Maddux completed his medical degree and doctor of philosophy at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He then completed a residency in neurology at the Parkland Memorial Hospital, which is connected to the UT Southwestern Medical Center system. Dr. Maddux followed with a fellowship in movement disorders at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Maddux is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in neurology. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Maddux is actively involved in research related to Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his research at national and international conferences.
