Thousands gathered on Cincinnati’s riverfront for the 2013 Walk MS, organized by the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National MS Society. MS, or Multiple Sclerosis, is a disease affecting the nervous system and affects over 2 million people worldwide. Money raised from Walk MS helps fund support services for those impacted by Multiple Sclerosis.
Several of Riverhills Neuroscience patients came out to be part of “Team Riverhills.” Many were greeted with hugs from Riverhills nurses and Medical staff. “These ladies are just terrific,” said one patient during the walk, referring to the nurses at Riverhills Infusion Therapy center. Riverhills operates one of the largest neurology infusion centers in Ohio.
Team Riverhills raised over $5,000 for MS Society that will help fund research, advocacy, and support for those with MS.
