The annual Cincinnati “Walk MS”– a key fundraising and awareness event for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society – is Saturday, April 26, 2014.
Riverhills Neuroscience will be there in numbers once again with “Team Riverhills”. Last year’s team had over 50 participants that included Riverhills staff, MS patients and numerous friends and family.
Bree Hardwick, Riverhills infusion therapy coordinator, is the team captain. She is already recruiting friends and family to not only participate, but to donate generously. “I set an aggressive fundraising goal, because I really believe in the work the MS Society does. They provide valuable resources to our patients and fund important research.”
As Walk MS participants come together at Cincinnati’s Sawyer Point, a great sense of community is shared. Hugs, smiles and laughter are plentiful. People of various age, race, and circumstance come out for Walk MS – demonstrating the diverse population of people touched my Multiples Sclerosis.
Hardwick explains “It’s really great day for everyone in the MS community to come together and share their strengths, offer support, and work to bring us closer to a world free of MS.”
All are welcome to join “Team Riverhills” at the 2014 Walk MS, or you can simply donate to show your support.
Fun at the 2013 Walk MS!
